I gently pushed her to try layers instead of the usual trim, and she left beaming. Some say we should always suggest new ideas, others believe it's better to just follow requests. How do you handle this?

Ever consider how much aftercare factors in? Like if @the_sam charges ahead with a big change, does the client know how to style it daily? That can make or break their happiness with the cut.

You pushed a shy regular to change her whole style? That's a huge risk to take with someone who might not speak up if they hate it. Reading if they're open is one thing, but actually pushing them over the line seems different.
