Switching to store-brand groceries saved cash but cost me in taste and texture
I made the switch three months ago to cut my grocery bill by 30%, which sounded great on paper. However, the off-brand cereal tastes like sweetened cardboard, and the pasta disintegrates if you look at it wrong. It's frustrating because I'm technically hitting my savings goal but dreading every meal. Now I'm stuck debating if the extra money in my account is worth eating bland, crumbly food every day.
